Oh how the years go by...

It has really hit me lately how fast everyone grows up. Alexa just turned 11, and I still remember the day she was born! I got so excited i jumped up and hit my head on the cupboard. Both my brothers have their own families now, it's just my mom, dad, and Alexa back in Calgary, and I have been in Provo for almost 2 years! I feel like it was just yesterday I was in High School, and now all the girls I have known since nursery are getting married! Sara Salmon, Katelyn Cichy, Katie Blumell.. and I'm sure more to come. I am just in awe! I grew up with an amazing group of girls and feel so blessed that we are all still close 17 years later! We definetly know how to have a good time, and somehow became well known... maybe it was just because we were all so boy crazy:) I am thrilled for all of them, sad that we won't be able to just hang out whenever, but such is life. We grow up. I have no doubt that we will stay friends our whole lives, even if we are all scattered over the map. These girls and my family have shaped me into the person I am today and I feel overwhelmed with gratitude for each one of them. Life wouldn't be the same if one person hadn't been apart of it. I am so proud of each of my girls! They are living amazing lives and I love that we have all stayed strong in the church. I love how close I am with my family. I have the BEST family! How did I ever get so lucky:) So here's to such incredible people... Thank you, I love you!

Those pictures really bring back some great memories! It truly is amazing the way we've all stuck together. We have all been so blessed to have each other! I don't know how we lucked out with such a great group of friends, but I definitely don't hate it. I cannot believe it's been 17 years since your family moved into our lives! That may be the best decision your parents have ever, and will ever make! The greatest part is that for that whole 17 years, we have been best friends. You seriously are such an amazing girl with a great heart and a sincere and loving spirit. I learn so much from you every time I talk to you, especially when it's a time where I need advice, or if I'm struggling with something -- you always know what to say and I come away feeling so good. Your testimony is so powerful and I love that you wear it on your sleeve! I seriously love you so much. I love the 17 years we've had, and I look forward to the 70 years that lay ahead of us!
