Hallow's Eve

This year it sadden me a little when I realized that I just don't really care anymore for halloween and putting forth the effort to have a great halloween costume. Last year my room mates and I were super heroes and had a blast putting together our costumes. It's always the same parties... same people and locations every year. This year I decided to go to the UVU Halloween dance/party as I've heard over the years that I have lived out here that their dance is a little crazy! This year there was a lot of hype surrounding the event as they had cool things such as a oxygen bar, hypnotist.. and a lot more. The school was decorated pretty awesome too. I was impressed. However, the line up to get in was ridiculously long and slow. It was packed full of people, hot, and I just didn't have the good time I was hoping for. It was alright. It was fun to go with my friend Sara whom I've known for quite a while but we had never hung out before. So that part was fun.

When I was in Venice this summer I bought a real venitian mask and I thought it might go well with a peacock costume so that is what I decided to be. Of course the outfit didn't go as planned as school and work consume my life and I had no time to really put the costume together.... so I decided next year I'll be a peacock again and go all out. It was still fun to wear my mask, although UVU wouldn't allow masks so i had to tie it on top of my head.
