Tender Mercies....

Tender Mercies always come in different sizes, shapes, and forms. Life is pretty crazy, stressful and just plain busy. Tonight I decided to look at all the tender mercies, and blessings that the Lord is showering me with lately that I have been too caught up in stress and heart ache to realize. I'm grateful for the trials I have been through and am going through because my eyes are always eventually opened and I am able to see why I needed those trials. Some of these may seem really silly, but they are part of my tender mercies.

- my ward
- the love my home teachers and visiting teachers have for me. I am so incredibly blessed! they are amazing.
- heaters
- my family back home and my family in utah
- the amazing group of girls I grew up with since the age of 3
- mormon messages
- friends I made at Crestwood that will be my friends forever
- the gospel
- Heavenly Father's love for me that the spirit witnesses to me everyday
- parent's advice... they always see what we do not
- the incredible family I was born into that has raised me in the gospel
- the education I am recieving
- the town I am living in (lots of people call it a city though)
- Institute of Religion
- professors that push me to my limits
- my car
- the scriptures
- patriarchal blessing
- prayer
- lower grades then I'd like on assignments that don't squash my overall grade, but push me
- having a strong work ethic

The list goes on and on and on... maybe I'll update it more this week. However, a few weeks ago my visiting teachers shared this video with me that will always help me remember to count my blessings often. We can always conquer the "impossible" with the Lord's help because he loves us so so so deeply. He suffered for every single pain and affliction we have gone through and ever will go through so he can help us overcome them and heal our hearts.

Honestly, your blog posts are so inspiring to me. I have a hard time sometimes recognizing the little things in my life that are blessings in disguise... but you definitely know how to help me see a new perspective! I love you! I am so grateful for you!

I love you Kaite! I'm so glad you shared this. It is such a true principle...gratitude for these tender mercies only helps us to see them even better. I love you! I am grateful for you!
