This year I've been REALLYYY excited for christmas time, because I get a two and a half week break off of school which is much needed after this semester, and to give me a break before the craziness of next semester. Wow... I only have 2 semesters left of college. I'M ALMOST DONE! I'm sure I'll be sad when it's over, but right now i'm just ready for next semester to end as well:) I have one exam left tomorrow.. of course will probably be the hardest one but what can ya do. On Friday I fly HOME! To Calgary of course. Provo feels more like home now, but calgary is still home. As a result of my excitement over Christmas, my room mates and I decided to make our apartment festive, watch christmas movies, and make a ginger bread house. It was SO much fun.
We also have had the greatest home teachers in the WORLD this semester. I have never had consistent home teachers, and these fellas' sure were and blessed my life IMMENSELY this semester through the caos. They certainly knew how to lift my spirit and just bring hope and joy into my life. Who are these superb young men? Brady Grayson and Nathaniel Robinson. They were so sweet and cooked our apartment breakfast on friday morning to kick off exams and it was DELICIOUS. To pay them back, we had them over for dinner on sunday night and I made my mom's yummy salsa roast and syd made her momma's yummy truffles. We had a GREEEAAATT time... as you can see.
On Friday night I went to the ward christmas party by myself as my other room mates had stuff on, but I became friends with two new cute girls in the ward that i'm going to start hanging out with. The dinner was costa vida burrittos, and they had a white elephant gift exchange, ward fhe slideshow of the semester, awards, and we picked numbers so we didn't know who we would be sitting with. My lovely cousin Katie is the activities co-chair, and her committee put on a GREAT party. Of course no ward event of ours goes without a dance, so we had a big dance party afterwards.
